Today Terje Haakonsen set a new world record for highest air out of a quarterpipe
Today Terje Haakonsen set a new world record for highest air out of a quarterpipe with a whopping 32-foot backside 360 method. The photos will assuredly be sweeping the internet in a matter of minutes and will have more gawkers than the recently bowling-balled Britney. He warmed up only once before he began charging, then consistently hit 9 meters for the hour to come. His daily efforts were broken with his board, as it snapped underneath a goliath mctwist towards the final minutes of the contest. He was challenged by Jacob Koia, Pat Moore, Manuel Pietropoli, and Kevin Pearce, all of whom were licking the 9 meter mark as well. Check back later for the complete story and a set of new videos.
