Boreral Jibassic Pro Rail Jam wrap-up
Wrap-up in the sense of what I can remember right this second... Yes, there was a rail jam but I didn't get to watch much of it from all the coffee drinking and silly string spraying. Oh and all the raffel prize we gave away didn't keep people away from the booth either. We gave away some great stuff that obviously other thought so too from the large crowd that gathered for each drawing. First drawing was some Burton Cartels, some Electric EG.5 LTD's, (so freakin hot right now). Second drawing was the 686 Gaper suit (neaon is still in!) and a Burton Poncho Villa Jacket . Last drawing was the biggie, anoterh parir of Burton Cartels, and the big prize of the night.. a Burton Idiom Select 156, still can't believe we gave that away and some people do silly board give aways for Burton Twins that are 4 years old... We give you an Idiom Select! So like I said I know there was a rail jam but we were have way too much fun messing with kids and giving away great stuff, but I do have pictures and better words but thats a Monday type thing!

Lake Tahoe October Snow
Ok, so its nothing to get super excited about but it seems like a storm almost every week for the past couple weeks and a few more are already lined up in the Pacific. But still, keep the stick in the garage a few more weeks till we really know if it gonna be an early season start or the old Tahoe fooler. Keep your fingers crossed that these storms are only a happy tease to a decent winter!!

Memories of back east....
Watching the third early season snowfall started reminding me of back east. These dustings that we have received really means nothing towards our overall season. Pretty much after each storm blows though it melts as soon as the sun comes out. But if we were back east we would be calling our local mountain to see if the snow guns had been turned on and if the whale backs had started to form. It was almost like Christmas as soon as the temp dropped because you knew those guns would be blowin all day long. And if you're from a bump on the earth like me, then you knew more than likely then next day their might be enough snow to go ride for a bit. So, while we in the sierras, are feeling some early joy at the snow knowing season is right around the corner just remember the little Ohio kid who dreams of cold temps and man made snow....
oHIo!!
