Birthday Mountain Bike Ride

Happy Birthday to me... In years past I have done everything from Take a trip to Vegas to float the Truckee river. So this year I decided to do something different and take a nice little 18 mile mountain bike ride on the good old Emigrant Trail located here in good old Truckee CA. I wanted to do something a little bit more scenic and challenging but for some reason I had to be some place later that day for a party. So Emigrant it was and what a great day for a ride. Light north wind to keep you cool b/c as any one knows that trail sucks on a hot day. The flowers in the meadow where in full bloom and the trail wasn't horribly dusty as it also can be. Another draw back to Emigrant can be the traffic but luckily again this being early June I only passed 2 groups of riders and was able to make it out and back in under an hour and forty minutes even with time to chill out at the lake for a few seconds to snap some photos. A note about the trail, its a long out and back that goes up and down the entire way. Its great for a pedal but as far as constant climb or constant downhill that ain't happenen on this trail but its a great long ride to get your legs in shape for all the amazing mountain bike trails Lake Tahoe has to offer.

do you have any used mt bikes for sale ? i don't think that beach cruiser i got from you is gonna cut it out on those trails......

how much you wanna spend? $25 will get you a real good hard tail from like 1993....and I mean HARD....

i was thinking like a soft tail with a super hard seat would do. i would need 2 of them. are those more or less than $25 ? do you deliver to sacramento ?

perfectt. something nice and afforable. Everytime we go to a bike shop we get sticker shock, turn around, leave, then go have sex instead. i mean c'mon, its just 2 tires and a seat right ? maybe a nifty water bottle holder.
