Before I had my awesome job at Porters Sports I worked at Squaw Valley Ski Resort for eight years in a bakery. So needless to say I know how to bake, but I don't know how to keep my mouth shut especially when Kokanee beer is involved. My best friend told me she was getting married and of course I offered to make her cake and invitations, but that is another hell story, for the cake she decided she wanted to have cupcakes.
So the short of the deal is that I flew to Spokane, Wa and for 2 1/2 days I baked and decorated 240-260 cupcakes. I did have plenty of help but I think I had more "official cupcake testers" then real helpers. In the end we had no mishaps and the bride and groom were ecstatic about the cupcakes. I could say I never want to see cupcakes again but that wouldn't be true, as I love to bake! So thanks to all that helped me out; Mom, Andy, Kinsey, Frank, Riley, Lyndon, Doss, Aaron, Annamieke and of course Dad for being the supervisor of it all. Congrats Brittany and Joe!
