Lake Tahoe Mountain Bike Trails: Glenshire A web of possibilities

Last night my neighbor Andy Mond and I took a little after work trip to the glenshire trails. Being new to the shire and from the maps I'd seen I wanted someone to give me the quick lowdown on the area. The Glenshire Mountain bike trails are a web of interconnecting trails that if you aren't watching you might miss a turn off for some sick trials areas. From fun flowing downhills to log rides and some hidden booters the shire has infinite loops. We barely cracked the surface but had a great ride that ended with the whoopdies that parallel Martis Creek Rd. I wouldn't imagine that some of our buddies down the hill would come up just to ride the shire trails since its a lesser known systems of trails but find someone in the know and enjoy one of the lesser known areas of the Lake Tahoe Mountain Bike system.
