Saturday June 21, 2008 is National Go Skateboarding Day. Between 2pm and 7pm there will be a skateboarding event at the Truckee Regional Park Skatepark. The event is a celebration of skateboarding for all levels of ability and ages. It is not a contest to see who can skateboard the best, it is about having fun skateboarding. Porters Sports and Reel Comp will be there to hand out free gifts, to those skating, from Adio, DC, éS, Etnies, Emerica, KR3W, Spitfire, and Fury. Reel Comp will also have a jib boom camera there to film the event and the skaters. FRS Healthy Energy Drink will be providing beverages for the event.

The League to Skate Lake Tahoe will also be there selling League shirts for $20. They will also be accepting donations towards the new skate park.
