Dejé a mis amigos en Bariloche
After a long day of packing and good byes, I caught a 19 hour bus to Buenos Aires from Bariloche. It was hard to leave. I was in Bariloche for over a month, but it seemed to go by too fast. When I left for this trip I had no expectations. I didn't know what was in store for my upcoming few weeks. I had heard that it was raining and hadn't snowed yet, but that didn't detour me from heading south anyways. I knew a couple of people at camp, but pretty much booked my trip on a whim with a mission to branch out a bit and enjoy traveling solo.

With sleepless nights, powder days, Metal Mondays (metal music and breaking stuff), Taco Tuesdays (Chicas night), and the most entertaining dinners I've ever had, I quickly came to know mis amigos in la casa de Louise to be my second familia. I've never danced so crazy, skied so hard, and learned so much on one trip before. I can't believe it's all coming to an end.
South American Snow Sessions was truely a life changing event for me. If you are debating on summer camps...well, if I were you I would hands down go to South America Snow Sessions. What other camp can you ride sick lines, hit backcountry jumps, park jumps, rails, anything you want, and learn spanish with a hot Argentine teacher? I can't wait to go back next year, but for longer. More time to travel and soak up some more Argentinean culture.
Unfortunately I've taken over 1,000 photos and videos from this trip and my computer is full and running like poop...so here are some photos from the first part of my trip! Expect more soon!

We had some downloading for the first week I was there, but that didn't mean that there wasn't powder at the top. A good time to take in the view.

Yes, that's a lamb and we cooked it on the mountain and then ate it! Best on hill lunch I've ever had.

It may look like we took our shovels out, but we got off the lift and this was just sitting there waiting for somebody to hit it up.

A view of the condor lift, you can spot large dinasaur like birds flying around when there's something dead on the ground.
See you all in Tahoe!!!

Lamb lunch on the hill! PETA would highly disapprove, but I like the style. See ya back home.
