Rocking at Lakeside

We are in the dog days of summer and sometimes that puts me in a funk. Whats the best way to get over that funk? Go to a punk rock/ rock show. Last night our IT guy's band Cohesion played at Lakeside in Tahoe City. Keep in mind it was a Tuesday night so to be honest I was quite impressed with the turn out. Cohesion played first, followed by the Punk Rock band Anit- Panti from South Lake, they were followed by the Drinking Machine Guns, who you should know if you have been around the lake for a while. Cohesion started it off with a new song and it got the crowd rocking. Aaron Gaines was there in full support with his own custom made band t-shirt, our IT guys last name is Hall so Aaron made a shirt that said "Hall Pass". So we dubbed Cohesion "Hall Pass" for the night.

All the bands had two "superfans" if you will, one was a guy who matched his camero that was out front and the other was Laddie, for those who know, know Laddie. These two were front and center and rocking out pretty much the whole time. I have to say it was also nice to see some of the same people that use to work at Pierce Street behind the bar at Lakeside, here's to Pam, Jumbo and Jack!

Lakeside has three of the four things that make it a nice place to play a show, good sound, beer and late night food but no liquor license for the hard stuff. Now what kind of a rock show it it when Jack Daniel's and Jim Beam are not present?
