Slightly Stoopid & Pepper Show in Truckee
Slightly Stoopid and Pepper played the other night at the Truckee River Park Amphitheater. I'm telling ya man - it's too bad that we don't have more and bigger and better come thru here because it's such a cool, intimate venue. The place was packed as usual when you get bands of Pepper and Slightly Stoopid's following to come. The mix of skittleheads, potheads, and dirtystinkinghippyheads was awesome
So our NorCal Volcom sales rep and 2006 Billabong XXL award winning big wave surfer Kenny "Skindog" Collins followed Pepper (a band on Volcom Entertainment's label) up from a show the night before at the Berkeley Volcom store. Skinny was nice enough to get backstage passes for myself and Porters / Volcom / Rome Snowboards team rider Johnny Lazz (that's short for Lazzareschi there kids). Johnny Tsunami (as Skindog affectionately calls him) was then nice enough to round up a gaggle of hotties to join us backstage!
Great energy. Great vibe. And great amounts of smoke in the air!! (check out the crowd pic to the side of the front row)
