Over the past three days here at Cerro Catherdal, a resort in Argentina, we have received over 10 feet of snow. There have been a lot of avalanches that have been pretty decent in size but nothing compared to the one that slid last night. At the very top of the mountain there is a huge face called nu base, its one the sickest places to ride on the mountain. Well last night, it broke off a chunk about 10 feet deep and 400 yards wide. It took out the whole park and a massive lodge. I had a chance to ride by the lodge today and got a few shots of whats left of it. Luckily, it didnt break off during the day or it would have been a disaster. I dont have the best pictures because it was pretty foggy today, but I think you can get the picture.
