11-6-2008 Boreal Is Open For Shred!

The photos from today will never get across the amount of intensity that was being put out from Boreal Mountain resort today. Porters Team rider Andy Finch gave me (Zak Shelhamer) the wake up call at 8:30 this morning that Marketing guru for Boreal Jon Slaughter had pulled through in the clutch of the moment and had some tickets waiting for us in the office. We dropped off Andy's sled that he is selling in town and headed up there asap. Andy and I met up with fellow porters team rider Chas Guldemond for a few Runs, First chair up we scored a seat next to Shred Slayer Andrew Brewer, I pulled out my Anchor man skills and asked him a few questions.

Zak: "Andrew, Your from colorado and you were out there shredding last week, how do you feel about this set up?"
Andrew: "Being out here on such a beautiful day is an honor, Boreal mountain resort really pulled it together, fun Jib lines and a Radical jump, what else could you ask for. "
Zak: "I agree however there are a lot of things you could ask for, maybe you could ask for some pb&j? but I think the people here are stoked to have this much coverage on opening day and I think its a great perspective for what boreal is going to be offering shredders this season."

So there you have it. On Behalf of all Tahoe I would like to say Thank you Boreal Mountain Resort!
