Lake Tahoe, NV: Mt. Rose—Ski Tahoe, Lake Tahoe’s closest skiing and snowboarding to Reno, will open its slopes to snow craving enthusiasts this coming Thursday November 13th! Natural snow & snowmaking has produced enough snow to open the Ponderosa Lift serving the Ponderosa Trail bringing a much anticipated opening to Tahoe’s Highest Base Resort.

Our Schedule will be Thursday – Sunday with the lift spinning between 9am – 4pm until more terrain becomes available.

Lift Tickets will be a flat rate $20. Rental equipment will be available but no ski school or Rosebuds Kids Camp. More runs should come online as expected storms and hopefully colder temperatures will exist to assist snowmaking efforts.

Please ski and ride with care as there are marked as well as unmarked obstacles on the available terrain.
