Snowbomb Ski & Snowboard Fest in SF
So I'm good friends with Jim McAlpine - founder / owner of Snowbomb and the infamous Tahoe Card. He approaches me I think this was last spring or maybe even a year ago, and says that he wants to do a big event in the City....and do it RIGHT. I'm totally down for multiple reasons, of course, but I really had no expectations in the first year.
Wow.
If you weren't there at Fort Mason in San Francisco this past weekend, then you definitely missed a great all around time. The free lift ticket alone was worth the price of admission. The beer and wine tasting opportunities were outstanding. And then getting to find deals on snowboard and ski gear at 50% off or better?? What's not to like about all of that?
Seriously.
Take a look at just some of the pics from this past weekend of our setup. I wish I had time to go take pictures of the rest of the massive layout, but from the second the doors opened until they closed, I didn't move from behind the register.......

This line went from the register, made a 180 turn back on itself, went around the outside of our sale and down the side. God bless you people who stood in line for an hour just to get some deals from us. Next year we promise to have double the cash registers, people, and gear to sell!

So after a long, long day that started at 4am up in Tahoe, we went out that night for an awesome dinner.

And the next day, after another non-stop, rockin' day of deals, we felt just like these poor guys literally falling asleep (or was that passing out?) while the wives kept spending money......

See ya next year!!
