So yeah we have no snow..blah ..blah..blah. Although Northstar, Boreal , Mt. Rose and Squaw (ha ha ha ha ) are open, I am not a fan of man made snow. I am however a fan of concrete. Yesterday we decided to take a little trip down to Sacto and shred some of the amazing concrete at the Granite Skate Park. Now if you have never been to the GSP in Sacto and you are a skater you should definitely go. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. From curvaceous bowls to deep pools to ledges and stairs. Being at this skate park also makes me remember how far removed we are up in Tahoe, tons of little brat skater kids that think that they own the park. Not watching where they are going, cutting people off, ya know the usual out of control kids. This park even has lights for a bit of night time skating but watch out because that is when the BMX dudes show up. They take over the whole park because really a bike + a guy = 2 more people in an already crowded situation. I am a bike hater what can I say, sorry, go peddle in the f-ing dirt. Anyways, after about 5 hours of skating in the 46 degree temp in Sacto we decided that we were too cold to keep skating.
