Telluradical
OMG, I felt like I was filthy rich with my own private powder lift when Telluride opened chair 9 for the US Snowboard and Ski Teams this week. It was the full Red Carpet treatment when we showed up to a camp at Telluride to get some early season runs under our belts. In addition to the mountain building us two separate SBX courses to train on and get ready for the plethora of competitions we have scheduled this season. Telluride opened one of there sickest lifts they have to treat us to some of there classic Colorado powder. The list of talented riders and skiers that ripped the powder along side me ran long with the likes of Shawn Palmer, Daron Rahlves, Seth Wescott, Casey Puckett, Lindsey Jacobellis, Pat Holland, and on and on and on. We spent 3 hours shredding every ounce of pow the mountain had to offer. When we first dropped in the mountain had pristine pow fields for as far as the eye or fall line would allow you to see. When we finally limped off the slope from fatigue the slopes looked like West face off of KT-22 at closing time after getting hammered all day. The stoke factor was so high I still have a sh*# eating grin on my face three days later. That is exactly what I needed before I board my flight to Switzerland tomorrow for our first World Cup of the season. I hope all of you out there is cyberspace get a day like that soon, it will remind you why we all love to shred. Have fun and kill it! For a complete slide show check out the link below.
