Austria World Cup Update

I just finished up two World Cups in Austria, took 3rd and 7th. The course was fast with a ton of air; it was easy to overshoot the bottom kickers, which I found out the hard way on the second race. I found myself out in front, leading the Simi finals when I took off, overshooting the second to last jump and turning a gate into shrapnel. I skidded across the finish line in the lead but was DQ from the finals. I can’t believe I blew it, would have been the second finals in two days and I was determined to win. Oh well, I’ll just have to brush that one off and get stoked knowing I’m up to speed now for the season. It was a great confidence builder going into World Championships in Korea this next week, and going for a 4 peat at X Games the week after that. One week at a time, one World Championship title, and one X Games Gold at a time. Hopefully I’ve worked out all the kinks and falls out of my runs now. I’m playing for keeps these next events. Game on!
