Chas Guldemond Report of ONeil Revolution Tour in Switzerland
First off I love Switzerland I had such a good time here last year so when I decided to come to Davos and then to Laxx I knew it was gona be super fun. The people in Switz are so nice and good fun to hang out with and talk to, I'm try to meet as many new people here as I can.
The slopestyle contest was a long night I took 15 contest runs including a head to head three run match with the Finnish warrior Petu Pirronen it felt really good to come out on top on that battle he is so consistent and strong it was a honor to beat him.I felt really good on my board and making through four head to head battles but in the semi finals I could not stomp a second different run to take the win so I ended up 4th place and 5 grand richer good times.
The next night was the QuaterPipe. I took all my confidence into it from Japan. it was 10 meters high and icy so pretty scary overall. I made 9 contest jumps with some stylie mctwist's and backside rodeos but in the 4th round it wasn't enough to beat out the warrior Petu. He took me out and took down the contest so last night I ended up in 6th place. Overall I am happy with my time and my riding în davos. So know its on to the biggest jib i have ever done this afternoon then on to Laxx for the Burton European Open... wish me luck!
