Clipping the Deck to Flat Bottom

So yesterday during a beautiful sunny winter day at Boreal, I had a bad encounter with the deck of the halfpipe. First hit frontside air to heels clipping the deck, then me landing straight on my back in the flat bottom. A lot of pain, toboggan ride and a couple x-rays later reviled no broken bones or vertebrae (thank God). So now I have a bruise the size of a melon on my lower back and will undoubtedly be off the shred stick for a week or two. I think the bottom line is I just need to stay clear from halfpipes, we just don't mix. Check out the massive bruises.......
