The Snowsports Industries America (SIA) is the national ski and snowboard trade organization. For the last 37 years Las Vegas has hosted our annual trade show convention to showcase the following winter’s gear and clothing. Sadly to many (happily for some), it will be moving to Denver, CO next year. So even with a recession and a so-so snow year nationally there were still lots of great farewell parties and fond memories to be shared.

And speaking of sharing, we here at Porters couldn’t be more stoked to share in our success of winning the prestigious “Pacific Retailer of the Year”……for the third straight year they’ve had the award now. It’s because of customers who have come back to our brick and mortar shops for years – or sometimes decades – that we continue to be recognized with awards like this.
