My adventure to a mountain I'd never been to was well worth it, making me a better snowboarder, giving me some sweet stories and even getting me a pay check! The weather was a little crazy, but in the winter time crazy is good, cause it dumped!! I was so stoked cause the conditions for the gnar we were riding would've sucked so bad if it didn't snow. This was my first big mountain contest and I can't wait for the next, it was right up my ally. Each line I picked was unique from any other rider and that showed with my third place at the end. One of the craziest things was that I wasn't scared or hesitent on my runs, until I had finished and looked up at the run I did and it wasn't the one I picked from the bottom but way bigger! I'm really happy with my placement and everything that went down in Crested Butte, I look forward to giving these women a run for their money again soon! That will be at The Northface Masters third stop in Kirkwood Ca.
