19th Annual Lake Cushing Crossing
May 9, 2009
This annual Squaw Valley spring tradition is Lake Tahoe's original "pond crossing" event and a must-see (or must do)! Come to the base of KT-22 and grab your spot around the pond and enjoy the wacky costumes and crazy crossings. The event starts at 2pm with registration (limited to the first 50 entrants) begins at noon on the KT-22 Sundeck.
This event has been re-scheduled to Saturday, May 9!
Registration: Noon on the KT-22 Sundeck.
Entry: $15 per category (Mens and Womens Ski, Snowboard and Open categories)
Rules: Helmets and personal flotation devices are mandatory. All registrants must be over 18 and must sign a liability release. Crossing devices must be controllable and any tandem entries must be secured to the same crossing device (ie. you cannot ski or board separately but can be bound to the same crossing device).
Contestants are judged on creativity and crossing.
Overall Winner: Silver Season Pass
Remaining Category Winners: $100
