2010 DC Snowboards SHAPE TECHNOLOGIES Explained
BENDER ANTI-CAMBER TECHNOLOGY [BDR]
Simply put, our new Bender Anti-Camber technology will change the way you look at snowboarding by offering you a completely new feel on snow. That’s done by making the board flat between the feet, then transitioning into an anti-camber zone just outside your stance. With a stiffer nose and tail and softer mid section, Bender boards float effortlessly in powder, carve like a dream, and eliminate unwanted hang ups on rails, boxes, and landings. DC’s new Bender Anti-Camber Technology can be found in the BDR series, which is built for the freestyle-minded rider looking for all mountain performance.
RADIUS TO FLAT [MLF, BFT, PBJ]
Back for a second season and expanded in the board line, Radius to Flat is a unique tip and tail profile that has continued to get rave reviews from our team and testers around the globe. The flat surfaces at the tip and tail of the board provide lift in powder to keep you floating on top of the soft stuff. Performance translation: more speed and easier landings in the powder.
DUAL RADIUS TIP & TAIL [HKD, XFB, BFF, BDR]
By morphing together two unique radiuses we are able to create tip and tail profiles that provide optimum performance for all mountain riding.
SEVEN RADIUS SIDECUT [HKD, MLF, XFB, PBJ, BFF, BFT]
Four radiuses, varying in size, are blended into seven sections. Why? Because larger radiuses initiate turns easier, and are more forgiving on landings, while shorter radiuses provide quick response and solid edge hold. Together they create a smooth and responsive ride on every turn.
