Fall Update
It's official, fall is here. I just flew over the snow toped Rocky Mountains on my way into Aspen for an X Games site inspection. It's time to put my nose to the grindstone and get ready to crush this season. It's a big going to be a BIG one, Olympics Qualifiers, X Games (5 peat???), and the Olympics. In preparation for all these big events I decided to give myself an edge and move out to Park City to train for the fall. Yep, training at the US Ski and Snowboard' Center Of Excellence. And let me tell you it's pretty impressive. For those of you that know me you'll know that I'm not a big gym rat. The Center Of Excellence (COE) has all the weight lifting and spin bikes any muscle bound creatine eating meat neck would love to sink his biceps into. But the COE has more... It has a full time PT center with hot and cold tubs, sports science lab, swimming pool, basketball court, and my personal favorite, the ramps and tramps area. This zone includes trampolines, full size skate bowl, whoop pump track with quarter pipes, a mini mega ramp to foam pit, and a start gate. Not only does my trainer Tshawna kick my butt, but I have a blast while doing it. In addition to the COE I'm still going to incorporate all of my old training tool like wakesurfing, dirt biking, mtn biking, golf, and fly fishing. It should be a productive fall. I'm stoked to hit the ground running this winter, like I said it's a BIG one. When I step into the gate I will be ready, there will be no stone left unturned!
