Hot Dawgs & Handrails 2009
Here's some perspective from Mr. Johnny Lazz:
"Hot dogs and handrails 09! You know winter is getting close when your in bear mtn. and they are blowing snow in 75 degree weather!
This years set up blew the last years set up out of the water with a DFD curved rail, a down C rail, jump to a 35 foot wall ride, down cement ledge, and a flat-box mounted on a pyramid box. Through the first 2 heats Brandon Cocard and I both made it through with Cocard's O SO GLORIOUS moves....and me - the Lazz - doing my best and holding it down.
Finals there were only 16 out of 50 of the competitors and scott vine takes it for his home mountain! Now pray for snow because i know everyone is excited to see what this "el nino" winter is going to do. The weather is starting to turn a bit here in Tahoe as the trees are starting to get that familiar fall color & cold is definitely in the air!"
