Playdate Shred!
Get your shred on! Old man winter is around the corner and has been teasing us with minimal snowfall. However there has been enough snowfall to perform some stunts. As the California state budget declines and much needed programs get cut like Physical Education in our schools, it takes some creative individuals to take advantage of the existing play areas in order to get a good workout. I was always weary of the overweight coach with the Bike brand short shorts, whistle, clipboard, mesh trucker hat and aviator sunglasses. What our infrastructure needs is a bunch of young bucks who can show you how to press & do dynamic plyometric like movements on snowboards. They don't cost that much to employ either. Give them a season pass somewhere, a lifetime supply of ramen noodles & frozen burritos, and they should be pretty darn happy. Check out Nick Visconti, Brandon Cocard & Johnny Lazz and you may sometime join them at your local playground and benefit from some physical activity just like the NFL's Play 60 campaign. These guys aren't muscle bound like the dudes in the NFL so they're not that intimidating..but their moves are.
