2011 Capita Stairmaster Extreme..for the ladies???

2011 Capita Stairmaster Extreme: “True Twin Extreme Freestyle”

The thing I found most important for my style of riding in this board was:

DS Select Core:
A core built for next level performance. Lightweight, with no irregularities or finger joints, the DS core is constructed with the highest quality poplar and beech woods. Beech is placed along the rails, enabling the rider to hold a solid edge while carving, eliminating chatter at high speeds and contributing more power to ollies and landings. Poplar strips are fused with the beech sections for flex consistency and vibration absorption. The DS Select offers a consistent, comfortable and powerful ride.

Why do I think this is important? Being a female rider does not necessarily make me small, as girls come in all shapes and sizes. Sometimes I find that some women’s boards are just too soft and too short for me, this happens a lot at demos for me. I have wanted to ride the Capita Stairmaster Extreme for a while now based on the good things I have heard. I think that this core makes this board super fun across the genders. For guys it is a super poppy, yet stable board for park riding. For the ladies I think that it is a super fun all mountain twin tip. How is that you say? Well if you are not a super petite girl, you ride with power and you want a super fun playful board…I think that this could be it, especially with the core construction. I rode this board in a 152, now I do have small feet and by the end of the run I could feel the width of this board, but for a lady with bigger feet then I, this board is fun. I rode it all over the hill, through some chopped up pow, groomers, some jibs and a bit of firm packed snow and I felt stable the whole way. I had the most fun on this board in a little place called Hot Wheels Gully at Alpine Meadows. The gully has tons of natural little features and this board proved worthy of its poppy cored and stable ride. I would recommend this board to any aggressive female rider that is looking for a fun twin tip that is stable enough to ride all mountain.
