Sled issues have lent to a slow start to the backcountry season for our crew but now things are going good. Yesterday we rallied a crew out to one of our favorite local spots. The sun was out and the snow was amazing. While out there we met up with Porters photog and team manager Eric, he was out with Andy Finch getting some shots. Around 2 Finch had to run do an interview so we took Eric to the magical fun zone where the snow was deep and light. Magical fun zone is full of fun little features to drop, slash and butter. I saw Kenny get some good air on these two boob like features. Eric was saying the magical fun zone reminded him of surfing, I have never surfed but I know exactly what he was talking about...especially when riding my Burton Fish. The end of the day came fast but in the end we had some great runs with a great crew.
