éS was started in 1995 by Pierre André Senizergues founder of Etnies, as a need to fill a much needed segment of the skate shoe industry, the core skaters. éS is a more technically advanced shoes for the core skater. The name éS was pulled from the first and last letter of Etnies. The éS Accel becames the best selling shoe for éS and continues to be éS flagship shoe.
