Highlights from the Nissan FWT on Silverado
The comp started at 8:30 which I was a little butt hurt about because spectators were not allowed on the tram until 8:45. Oh yeah and special tickets were not willing to hook me up with a shop pass or any sort of deal. (typical squaw move)
I missed Cody's first run and I also missed JT's. JT was injured during his first run luckily it was nothing too serious. ( glad your ok buddy)
Once I finally got up there it was sick! super fun contest and really good support from the local crowd cheering on their local shredders. This first edit is highlights from the Mens skiing and snowboading runs. also a small crash section that is coed.
Now the guys did a good job for sure. The Europeans ended up taking it down even though I felt the most exciting one to watch out there was Timy D. Now the Ladies really killed it out there I was super impressed. While editing this footage I realized that I had to do a separate edit for them. Elyse, Ingrid and Jacyln Passo were among my favorites. They all were choosing technical lines and charging them with little hesitation. Passo probably had the biggest air of the day over the men and women, and for sure had some help from the angel's in the outfield as she landed then bounced about 30+ back onto her feet. This edit is strictly for the "ladies" of the FWT. Excuse my Barry White/Ladies Man commentary in the beginning I could not help myself. If you don't have sound on your computer don't bother watching this you will not get the full effect I was going for.

did you put wood down on the stairs so if you came off early it wouldn't hurt you?
That is a sick looking rail. What was that you used to get speed for it?
No Wood, it was actually concrete feeling ask Drury how soft it was. We used a bungee, and it was a little sketch

The Traveling Circus Season 2
The Traveling Circus is back for season 2. This is episode 1 filmed at Mt Hood. Once again I wrote the theme song plus they used a couple other tracks that I produced. These kids are so creative and have built a strong following after last seasons success on the interweb. They are from New York so you know they kick ass. Stay tuned for more episodes and enjoy.

Tahoe to San Diego to Mammoth
While that was getting fixed we stayed with Ben & Stacy in Pacific Beach. Ben sent his regards to everyone here at porters and was a little disappointed that I was the only one to come visit him since he moved down there. Suzy and I got to ride some bikes around the boardwalk which was super fun, thanks to Ben & Stacy. Then I had a little surf session with Ben in the afternoon.
Little did I know I was wearing Matt Connelly's wetsuit inside out the whole time. I realized that about half way through the session then Ben started calling me inside out boy. Ben and I also managed to catch the same wave and throw a stinger up top mid surf. It was pretty sweet I wish we had a picture of that. I broke my GoPro case this winter otherwise I would of been wearing it.We partied the night away and the next day had some breakfast and beers with Suzy's Duke buddy. By the way I think happy hour starts at 10:00 in SD.
Then it was off to Mammoth for the last day of shredding with Ben & Stacy. It was pretty fun I never skied with Ben so that was a treat. Mammoth was open at 7:30 and closed at 1:00 so it was a pretty early day on the hill. I got some sweet GoPro footage of Ben doing some bumps & ski ballet. I did not get a chance to edit it yet but it will be up by the end of the week. After Shredding we hit up some hot springs right outside Mammoth it was the perfect ending to a sick road trip. enjoy the pics and the video will be up soon.

WARNING BEARS!!
Last week I also had an incident with some bears. They were pushing my front door open while I was pushing back trying close and lock the door. Once my door was locked I ran upstairs to find that the bears got into my neighbors staircase. So I got the video camera and filmed this from my bedroom window at like 2:30am - 3:00am. No Bears were seriously harmed in the making of this edit.

Bahahaha, good music selection and editing. so intense
Since they got in the house, you would think they are smart enough to get out? Obviously not.
Oh My God....that was incredible and awesome. Well Nick you said you wanted to see a bear. That was up close and personal. You don't see that everyday!

Red Bull Soup Box Derby / Our Whole Weekend
So this weekend the porter’s warehouse/ party crew hit san fran up for a sick weekend of heavy partying. Kevin Silva and myself took his party van on an epic journey with a beer pong table strapped to the roof. First we had to pick up a previous porters employee in Sac, Nasty Nate. Besides getting a CD stuck in Kev’s CD player the ride out was not bad. Friday night we went to a pre icer party in the aquarium at Pier 39. Where not only did we get to touch starfish and leopard shark but also they charged us double the money for half the drink. There were a lot of hot girls there, very few of which any of us talked to. The next day I found myself wondering who’s hotel I was sleeping in, and eventually Nate and myself had to walk all the way to AT&T Park from who knows where on market St. (thanks to Matt Connelly) I spent about 3 seconds at icer air after seeing the weak display of what they called a hip. Porter’s photographer Eric came out of the icer venue to inform me not to waste my time. So we decided to hit up the Red Bull Soup box derby instead. What a great decision that was because it was the most fun I had all weekend. 75,000 people apparently were having a great time as well crushing beer in the streets, which were closed off. Kevin Nate and myself bought a bunch of tall PBR’S and hit the street to watch the fiasco. There were a lot of hot girls and funny costumes. Some of the eye-catching cars people made were the Star Wars Death Star, the Hampster mobile, a giant baseball with thick red smoke pouring out the back, and some sort of pig car. Some of the soup boxcars reached speeds of over 40 mph hitting hay bails and trashing all the hard work they put into their creations. People were climbing trees to catch a glimpse of the kayos especially on the last downhill where teams were catching air and barreling way out of control. All and all it was a great time and porters is already planning soup car ideas for next years derby. If there are any ideas feel free to post them on our blog. After the derby the crew and me had to rally up Finn back at icer and prepare our self’s for Sunday’s football game in Oakland. When we finally found our parking spot we noticed that we parked on a dead turkey. This was not going to spoil our fun so we just went with it. Plus it was Ryan Saca’s dirty thirty and a great way to end our sick weekend of binge drinking by drinking more. Oakland fans are pretty crazy we saw a bunch of fights from our nosebleed seats. The highlight was probably seeing a cop fall down the stairs in the section next to us, as he was one of thirty cops trying to break up the raiders and jets fans. It was an awesome game the raiders won in OT by kicking a 57 yarder. People gave me shit for wearing a Chicago bears hat but fortunately I was able to exit the coliseum shank free. Nate stepped his game up in what felt like the wee hours of the afternoon by driving us half way home then Finn took over. When we eventually reached Tahoe the party fan reeked of pot smoke stale beer and whip-its. We gave a round of stingers up top and called it a weekend.
PS. Finn might be having a baby because of our shenanigans on Saturday night

Hey Nicky, great edit but I was mislabeled. The person in red was not me.
