A Tahoe Weekend

So we  are getting down to the last few weeks of warm weather in Tahoe and what better way to spend a weekend in the truckee Tahoe area playing golf, kayaking and splitting wood.  Northstar at tahoe has a very exceptional golf course and the weather is perfect right now so make sure you get out there and have fun!  The surface temperature of the lake tahoe is still 64 degrees so plenty warm enough to swim!

Get in the Lake

Yesterday Finn, Ming, and I stopped by a local Tahoe City pier after work to go swimming, since it was 90 degrees all day. This pier is at one of those fancy condo spots, with a fancy pool and other so-called "amenities". Walking down the pier, we saw this message written with rocks underwater. In your face, amenities!

Water temp is climbing FAST with all this smoky heat. It's gone from 59 to 67 in just one week. A few more days of this stuff and we'll get to 70.

Now granted - dive down 15 feet and you're back to 59!!

Love it, love it, love it. Get off the couch, grow some balls, and get in the Lake! And who knows, they might shrink up a little, but at least your using them.
