2012 ELAN BOOMERANG SKI
The twin-tip Elan Boomerang is the backcountry freestyle king. The ski of choice for all aficionados out there, who’ve got a taste for gigantic cheese wedge kickers and effortless deep powder landings. The rocker profile in the tip and tail ensure better maneuverability, as do the SST sidewalls and laminated woodcore. The fibreglass reinforcement, on the other hand, makes them extremely durable. DOES NOT COME WITH BINDING.
- BC ROCKER: Full tip rocker for riding in powder and various snow conditions and slight tail rocker that makes your switch skiing and landing much easier and smoother..
- SST SIDEWALLS: Sidewall Construction features a vertically placed ABS material above the edges from tip to tail of the ski. Sidewall offers direct power transmission from skier foot to the edge for control and stability at speeds and provides acceleration out of the turns.
- LAMINATED WOODCORE: This tip-to-tail laminated woodcore is specially shaped for each model and size, Using different wood types in various combinations allows adjustment of flex pattern for different uses. This extremely responsive and highly durable woodcore transmits power directy to the edges and allows versatility on various slope conditions.
- FIBREGLASS: Positioned either above or below the ski core, the Fibreglass reinforcement optimizes the flex pattern and enhances torsional stiffness
