How long have you been skiing?
I’ve been shredding for 16 years
What is your favorite part of life on the road?
My favorite part about being on the road is experiencing other places, and meeting new people. I’ve found that traveling has given me a newfound appreciation for where I live, and I’ve realized that it’s hard to campare any place to how sick North Tahoe is.
What is the worst part of life on the road?
Being away from Friends, Family, my dog, and deep pow in Tahoe!
What skiers inspire you and why?
Their are so many riders killing it these days, I’m inspired by anyone pushing our sport.
What has been the most exciting/important moment of your career thus far?
I would have to say that the most important and exciting moment of my career has been the entire journey from day one. I’ve dedicated a lot of time and effort into getting myself where I’m at now, and I couldn’t be more stoked about doing what I do.
You’ve also had the opportunity to film with Tanner Hall and The Massive, what is that like?
Filming with Tanner has been an awesome opportunity for me. Working with Tanner and CP is truly inspirational; they are an extremely motivated crew, with a clear vision of what they want. These guys aren’t just trying to make another ski movie, they want to take ski movies to another level. I could not be more stoked on how it turned out.
What do you like about living in Tahoe and how has it affected your skiing?
I love everything about Tahoe, I feel very fortunate to have grown up here. With everything from the lake all summer, for boating and fishing, to having tons of premier ski resorts, and endless backcountry right in my backyard. This place truly has everything to offer, and is an endless playground for someone like myself. It’s also bluebird 300 days of the year!
What does it mean to you to ride for Porters Tahoe, and what do you feel you will bring to their team?
I am beyond stoked to be riding for porters, being that I bought most of my ski movies, and ski gear there through the years, I think it’s a perfect match for me. I‘m also stoked to be representing a business that is from my hometown.
You are only 20, which means that you have quite a few years of shredding ahead of you…….. What are some of your major career plans/goals?
I want to keep it to the roots and continue to have fun
