Cool and unsettled
6/11/09 8:47am
The trend of below normal temps and chances for thunderstorms will continue through the weekend and into next week. There is a good probability of a steadier rain around the lake and Truckee Friday, with snow possible above 8000'. High temps in Truckee for the next few days will be in the upper 50s to low 60s, at 8000' highs will be in the mid40s. Low temps will bottom out in the 30s each night. Skies will be partly cloudy, mostly cloudy near storms.
Looking forward to next winter, the Pacific Ocean is warming.....possible el Nino developing????? Only time will tell.
