It's On!

6/24/09 11:30am
After a long period of below normal temps and rain, Tahoe is once again at full glory with daytime temps in the 80's in Truckee, 70's @ the lake and 60's along the ridges. Still some snow out there to make a few turns on, the mountain biking is sick and the wildflowers are just starting what will be a magnificent bloom. It is a perfect time to be in Tahoe, of course that's all the time.

Low pressure currently off the CA coast will push East Thursday/ Friday bringing the chance for afternoon showers and thunderstorms. High pressure will rebuild for the weekend before more troughiness resumes early next week. Longer range through July 4, shows the possibility of the occasional trough passage and a cut off low off the coast which increases the chances for thunderstorms. It is summer in full swing. Enjoy!

I myself will be visiting the very wet, cool and soon to be hot and humid NorthEast. Next post will be July 8th or sometime around there.
