Bogies on the radar

Lake Tahoe Area Weather and Snowpack Information

2/8/10 7:57pm

Split flow off the Pacific continues and so does the current trend of light snow every few days. The next 36hrs will feature a low pressure center sliding down the CA coast. Cold air and notsomuch moisture will continue through tomorrow as another 4-6" of new snow along the TSC is possible by tomorrow night. Just enough to keep things fresh. SW winds will not be an issue as they will remain fairly light. Expect another round of light snow Thursday night.

Next few days are going to be good. Get out and enjoy. Warmer temps later in the week will definitely change the snow. Longer range is nothing but uncertain. We may go dry. We might maintain. Who knows.
