Thick like bull

Lake Tahoe Area Weather and Snowpack Information

2/27/10 9:33pm

Fresh snow today was a bit on the heavy side. Temps stayed a bit warmer than the forecast called for which brought the cement to Tahoe. Upside is we'll be skiing it till May. Longevity over powder. Snowfall totals ended up on the low side of the forecast as a result of temps. ~18"+/- along the TSC.

Sunday looks to be sunny with light winds. A few clouds/ high clouds might filter through but the clouds/fog of today will be absent. Temps Sunday into the 40s in Truckee and mid 30s @ 8k. Next storm on Tuesday->Wednesday and again Friday. Next weeks snows should be colder with snow levels <5000'. More to come tomorrow as the storm train should persist for 7-10days with a storm every 3.
